SPILLING OVER

The theme for the March Sketchbook Challenge is Spilling Over.  This is Toby "Spilling Over" in a shoebox he decided to take a nap in.  This is painted in watercolors.  I was having trouble getting this posted, but now I'm back in business.

OPPOSITES

This is my entry for the February challenge "OPPOSITES".  Violet is the opposite of yellow on the color wheel so I thought some violet bananas were in order.  They were painted entirely with Twinkling H20's shimmering watercolors.  Since the paint is shiny, this is the best picture I could take.  I kept getting a hot spot from the flash. The actual journal page is much more violet, this picuture looks more fushia.

 

I can't wait to see what March's challenge will be.  I won't wait till the last minute to do my entry!

YELLOW TOMATO

Here's another project from my Wednesday Watercolor class.  This was done on Aquabord by Ampersand.  It is a great surface and really makes the colors vibrant.  This is my favorite piece from Wednesday Watercolor.
